Kelli's Paper Dolls

Kelli has been going to the Apple Blossom Cottage at the Army Community Service building on base. They have many little craft classes there (like the cooking class from the older post about the pork bulgogi). This one turned out better than that one. She took once a week class for just over 2 months to make these rice paper dolls. They are made completely from rice paper and look really cool. When she first started them I was worried they looked like the state puffed marshmallow man wrapped in toilet paper, but they look cool now that they are done.

12 Week Update

The nice thing about going off base to a Korean doctor is that you get an ultrasound at every appointment. Don't worry the doctor is American Board certified and the Army referred us to him. As you can see the baby is getting bigger. The ultrasound moved the due date back 5 days to January 23rd. Notice the little face the doctor drew on the baby. He tends to do this to show us things.

7 Weeks Already

At Kelli's first doctor's appointment on June 12th we found out she was already 7 weeks pregnant according to the ultrasound. The picture to the right shows the Heartbeat! It also shows the tiny little baby. I call'em peanut for now. This was right before we went home on leave so we got to take these pictures home to show our families. The due date was set for January 28th.

Baby Time!

This is a little old news, but we wanted to wait till we got home on leave to tell our families in person. Didn't think the internet was the best to tell them. On June 1st, I finally got tired of Kelli complaining about her belly being upset and we decided she should take this test just to if this was why she hadn't been feeling right. It took less than 30 seconds to turn positive!
